Extraversion — the attitude that focuses on the object.
Function — a group of mechanisms of the brain playing a role in cognition.
Function-attitude — an aspect of a function corresponding to the extraverted or the introverted attitude.
Archetype — an evolutionary aspect of the psyche that serves as a placeholder for information.
Psychological type — a description of function-attitudinal roles, representing the brain’s survival strategy, chosen presumably in the period between infancy and puberty. It’s not a personality (nor something changeable overall) and not a measure of intellect.
